Claudio Carrasco

Graduated as Biologist with emphasis in Terrestrial Ecology, Claudio worked

for over 12 years at  the  Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute - Panama (i.e. Logistics Coordinator for Nat Geo, Oxford Scientific Films, NHK-Japan on photo and filming assignments, etc). As a Naturalist Tour Guide he has worked for National and International Companies guiding educational field trips with emphasis in history, ecology and environmental education, The Colonial Route, National Parks, Indigenous Cultures of Panama.

Benny Wilson

Is a connoisseur in frogs, and received his credentials as Certified Interpretive Guide from the National Association for Interpretation (USA).

His experience includes being Expedition Leader and Interpretive Guide, Naturalist on board the M/V Sea Voyager,Lindblad/National Geographic Expeditions, Field Coordinator for the production of “Deadly 60” TV program for BBC in the Darien Region, Trainer/Lecturer for Caribbean Birding Trail, Fundacion Almanaque Azul, Fundacion Avifauna Eugene Eisenmann, Fundacion Mar Viva and others.

Joshua Hall

Joshua Hall  has worked as a Naturalist guide for over 10 years, sharing his knowledge and passion for nature with photographers, journalists, senior citizens, families, students, naturalists, bird watchers, and adventure travelers.

He has worked for National Geographic leading people into the tropical rainforest

as a Naturalist guide and Photographer.

Joshua has also worked for NGOs, where he  developed programs of sustainnable tourism in the indigenous community.

María Isabel Herrera

Maria Isabel Herrera founded Panama Great Adventures in 2009. She has a degree in Hotel Management, and has worked for Marriott Hotels & Resorts, as well as in Eco Lodges in Panama´s tropical rainforest.

Working for an isolated jungle lodge located on a private reserve, her passion for tourism, and her desire to help nature lovers and adventurers to acomplish their goals during their visit to Panama, were the main reason for becoming a Tour Operator.

She is currently in charge of Marketing & Sales; and continually researches and creates new programs and adventures.

Jose Tejada

José Tejada has developed a love for nature, specially for the birds in Panama. He has experience working as an assistant Park Ranger and 20 years in birdwatching, as a guide and as a tour leader for the Elder Hostel. He actively in special projects for the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute and for the Panama Audubon Society.
Additional, José has participated as a guide for special associations such as Young Presidents Organization, Jason Project, American Birding Association in Panama and the National Audubon Society. He has a passion for Digiscoping Photography.

Armando Escapa

Professional photographer for 6 years, dedicated to  nature and culture photography.
His work is characterized by the use of outdoor areas and natural light, giving an air of nostalgia to his portraits.
He has participated in workshops with photographers such as Rick Sammon and Dasha Horita - National Geographic and Petr Bambuseck - Wildlife photogrpher of the year finalist 2015 - who did a workshop at Sierra Llorona-Private Reserve-Panama.
